Hello from the hell that is the Donald Trump presidency. When will it end? Will it ever end? Children separated from their families without proper care. It is monsterous of this administration. Here’s what caught my eye this week!
1. E. Jean Carroll excerpted her new memoir in the New Yorker detailing her sexual assault by the future president. It is disturbing. All I can say is BELIEVE WOMEN.
2. Started reading City in the Middle of the Night by Charlie Jane Anders. It’s a stand-alone sci-fi novel about people living on a planet that is either always in direct sunlight or always in darkness. Interesting so far, but I’m not sure if I’ll like it as much as All the Birds in the Sky.
3. Author Ta-Nehisi Coates spoke to congress in favor of reparations. It’s a much watch!
4. lol at Christians trying to cancel Good Omens when they don’t even know the correct streaming service!
