My week consisted of yet even more overtime, taking a ride on the NYC transit ferry for the first time, entering the Hadestown ticket lottery (and not winning), and going to a work-sponsored HH, overall not so bad! This week on the blog I was feeling a bit nostalgic so I wrote my thoughts on how I should have handled my money differently when I was young.
Here’s what caught my eye this week!

2. Started reading Like a Love Story for my job’s book club. It’s so sweet an innocent. It’s about a young man who is gay, but is scared to come out because it’s in the middle of the AIDS epidemic in NYC. Of course there’s a bit of a love story here. I love the writing and the different POVs.
3. A lot of attention has been given to the crisis/revolution happening in Sudan. I recommend watching the episode of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj to get a good sense of what is going on there.
4. I feel like I’ve been watching his videos for ages and it makes me happy to see someone grow into themselves! ♥
