It’s been a long week, hasn’t it? Some government workers are getting back pay, but others like housekeepers and janitors won’t see any of it! It’s a small relief for some that the government will be back for three weeks, but then what, Nancy?!?
On the blog this week I wrote about my One Year Credit Card Ban, a review of High Heel, my trip to the Andy Warhol Exhibit, and my five rules to live by.
Here’s what caught my eye this week!
1. I’ve found a backpack for our trip! Vintage inspired! I got a good deal by buying it through Ibotta app for cash back on my purchase. (More on my experience with that coming soon.)
2. Watched a few episodes of the new Carmen Sandiego series on Netflix. I like the art style, but I’m not really into the backstory. Is that how it was in the original series?
3. Re-reading The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty this week since the sequel, The Kingdom of Copper, just came out!
4. A problem I’m having recently is that I want to shop all the “sale on sale” deals that are happening right now, but I need to be thoughtful about my purchases! Here’s an article from Mic that explains the phenomena.
