Found this image by searching “Sabrina” somehow…

It’s been a long week. Between the shooting in Pittsburgh and Trump trying to end the 14th Amendment, my heart is heavy. It’s so so so important to vote in this election. Our country is in turmoil.

I ended up not looking for a costume this year and decided to be boring and not dress up for anything. Just wasn’t feeling it and wasn’t motivated.

On the blog this week I wrote about what I would do with the mega millions jackpot, a book review on Obama/Biden fanfiction, my thoughts on my staycation, and a brief update on the start of NaNoWriMo. Here are some things that caught my attention this week:

1. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix

My new favorite show. I can’t get enough! Witches + creepy + black cat familiars = the best.

2.  The infinite wisdom of Roxane Gay knows no bounds. Her article on how important it is to vote this election is not to be missed. She is so much more articulate than my previous post on why the midterm election is important and I just want everyone to read it.

3. The book I read this week is Frankenstein, it’s my favorite “classic” book. It’s my first re-read since I read it originally in high(?) school. Still amazing. Still my favorite.

4. PRIMARK! I finally made a trip to the Brooklyn Primark location and I bought so much! Love it! Must return for more.

5. In the same Primark trip, I bought these peeling foot masks at ULTA–it’s working!

Have a good week! ♥
