It’s National Novel Writing Month! I have struggled to participate in this event in the past, so I’ll see where this goes! The goal is to write 50,000 words on a “novel”.
For these first two days, I’ve been writing on my commute in Google Docs, the train ride is about 35-40 minutes each way. I have a image of “Hero’s journey” from Wikipedia at the beginning of the document so I’m inspired to keep the story moving. I decided not to create an outline, but instead just start and try not to get bored where the story is going.
Apropos of nothing, the story, so far, is about a girl who lives on a farm, dreams of leaving to go to a prestigious school, but soon gets wrapped up in the resistance.
