In the vein of other parody artists like Seth Grahame-Smith’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or 50 Sheds of Grey emerges KafkaRotica, literary erotic fiction, which according to their website… “is a clear, intelligent, and sexy voice in a sea of grunts, fake-orgasms, and unsexy stereotypes. We want our readers to explore their minds as well as their bodies, chuckling all the while.” KafkaRotica is written by a duo who are better known as H.P. Xachariah. They sing their own original songs. And write their own material (based on classic works, such as Poe and Faulkner).

In order to stimulate interest in this quirky brand of fiction, KafkaRotica held a launch party in a Lower East Side dive bar Monday evening. They opened with their song, “America,” a country song dedicated to “fucking in America.”
It’s been stuck in my head all day!
They also read some of their works, a poem, The Swallow and Fulkner and Leave-er. I’m really happy that I was able to see the live show! They also showed their music video “A Song About Cum” which was highly entertaining and hilarious. They ended the night with a lovely duet called “Fuck Someone You Love.”
I hope they will continue to have live shows and publish more content soon! Awesome!
